The competition will take place at the concert hall “Lielais dzintars” (at Radio iela 8, Liepāja, Latvia) on 9 December 2024.Requirements for the Applicants:
- Professional music degree in percussion instrument performance or a music college student in percussion instrument performance;
- Experience with playing timpani;
- Experience with working in an orchestra;
- Ability to work in the primary job with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra.
Main job duties:- Prepare and play the percussion instrument section of the orchestra in high artistic quality according to conductor’s instructions;
- To comply with the work schedules and compositions, work arrangements and other internal rules and regulations of the SJSC “Liepāja Symphony Orchestra”;
- Maintain and improve individual skills throughout the contract validity period.
