How do I apply to an audition through OrchestraPLAN?

To apply for an audition, simply complete your profile by adding personal information, experience, documents, and recordings. When you apply, you can use the details from your profile to quickly fill out the application form.

After I apply to the vacancy, who has access to my information?

Once you apply, the audition organizers (usually the orchestra office staff) will have access to the information you provided. They can also use OrchestraPLAN to conduct a voting process among orchestra members to decide who should be invited to the audition. The organizers can choose which details are shared with the voting members. However, sensitive information such as your contact details (email, phone number) and personal documents will be excluded from the information that can be shared and cannot be accessed by the voting members at all. This ensures an additional level of privacy for you.

Do I apply to all vacancies directly through OrchestraPLAN?

OrchestraPLAN helps orchestras post vacancies, but not all orchestras use our system to handle applications. For some auditions, you’ll apply directly through OrchestraPLAN, while for others, you’ll be sent to the orchestra’s website to complete your application.
