The competition will take place at the concert hall “Lielais dzintars” (at Radio iela 8, Liepāja, Latvia) on 9 December 2024 at 12:00.

Requirements for the Applicants:

  • Professional higher music education in the speciality of trombone playing;
  • Experience with working in an orchestra, experience as a concertmaster will be considered as an advantage;
  • Ability to work in the primary job with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra.

Main job duties:

  • To prepare and play orchestral pieces of the trombone section at high artistic quality;
  • To ensure the quality of work of the trombone section;
  • To adhere to the work plans and structure, as well as other internal regulations of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra;
  • To maintain and to improve his/her individual mastery throughout duration of the contract.
