Director of Opole Philharmonic announces a competition for the post of violin tutti (full-time orchestral musician)
Auditions of the candidates will take place on September 11, 2024 at Opole Philharmonic (address: Krakowska Street 24, 45 – 075 Opole, Poland). 
Musicians interested in taking part in auditions are requested to submit CV and the letter of motivation to the following e-mail address: filharmonia@filharmonia.opole.pl not later than September 2, 2024

Opole Philharmonic does not reimburse travel costs. 
Opole Philharmonic reserves the right to select candidates who will be invited for the auditions. 

Programme of the auditions (in orchestra parts – the obligatory passages have been marked in the music materials for download): 
  1. W.A. Mozart – Concerto in G Major KV 216, Concerto in D Major KV 218 or Concerto in A Major KV 219 – first part, exposition and cadenza
  2. Freely selected solo piece – first part with cadenza
  3. Orchestra parts:
  • J. Brahms – Symphony No. 1, part 1 
  • J. Brahms – Symphony No. 4, part 3 
  • W.A. Mozart – Overture to the opera The Marriage of Figaro 
  • S. Prokofiev – Symphony No. 1, Classical, part 1

  • R. Strauss – Don Juan 
  1. Sight-reading piece.
