Approved candidates will be employed under Brazilian labor laws and will complete a probationary period of at least one year with the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra.

The listed compensation values represent a full year of work (January to December) and are paid monthly on a proportional basis. They include allowances for instrument maintenance, copyright usage (both commercial and noncommercial), a 13th salary paid annually, and a 30-day paid vacation.
Additional benefits include health, life, and instrument insurance, monthly meal vouchers, and other provisions in accordance with Brazilian law.
These conditions are subject to change under the terms of the new labor agreement.

Auditions will take place at Sala Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), on April 14 2025.
The audition schedule will be communicated to each candidate individually by March 14, 2025.
All candidates should check-in 30 minutes before their assigned time.
The audition process may consist of several phases to be determined by the examining board. The examining board may interrupt the audition at any time.
The solo pieces must be performed unaccompanied.
All expenses incurred in attending the audition (travel, accommodation, meals etc.) will be the sole responsibility of the applicant

Only highly qualified candidates will be invited to attend the audition. The Philharmonic Cultural Institute will carry out a preliminary analysis of the CVs submitted and reserves the right not to select applicants who do not meet the qualities required to take part in the audition process.
