Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive is designed to support the needs of media composers, conductors, and orchestral musicians interested in developing their skills in the professional studio recording environment.  Founded by conductors Angel Velez and David Newman, LAFCI's programs include The Intensive, a conducting/composition program at Warner Bros. Studios with alumni such as Ludwig Göransoon (Oppenheimer), Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery), Fil Eisler (Empire), Sherri Chung (Gremlins), Martina Eisenreich (Tatort), Tom Howe (Ted Lasso) and many others.  LAFCI also has created the Masterclass series introducing composition and conducting through short workshops throughout the world including Argentina, South Korea, Singapore, England, and more.  LAFCI also created the Studio Intensive at Warner Bros. Studios, a program designed specifically for orchestral musicians interested in learning about recording for film/television/albums under the guidance of Hollywood's veteran studio musicians.
