Orbis Musicus: String Academy Ochsenhausen

Orbis Musicus is more than a masterclass. It is a space where music, mentorship, and artistic exchange come together in a meaningful way. Here, you’ll find an environment carefully shaped to support both personal growth and artistic development. Participants are not simply students, but musicians engaged in a shared process of discovery within a setting that is focused, open, and collaborative.

At the heart of Orbis Musicus is a commitment to mentorship that extends beyond technical instruction.

The faculty bring a wealth of experience as performers and pedagogues, shaped by a broad range of European musical traditions. Together, they share a commitment to thoughtful, individual teaching and to supporting each musician in developing their own artistic voice.

Throughout the academy, participants receive individual lessons with piano, take part in a mock audition session, and engage in open discussions with the faculty. Performance opportunities take place within an in-house setting, creating a space that is both supportive and artistically focused.

Beyond the lessons themselves, the course fosters a sense of community, where exchange continues through conversations, shared experiences, and time spent together.

A masterclass with heart, where your voice matters.
