- The Atlanta Opera Orchestra is an AFM Union engagement
- Musicians work under the current CBA Agreement
- The Atlanta Opera Season is four Mainstage productions and two Discoveries productions, annually from October through May
- Not all musicians are contracted to play all productions
- The average number of services per production is ten
- The audition winner may be offered opportunities to perform in the remaining 2026–27 season productions; acceptance of these engagements is optional. The winner will be expected to commit to the 2027–28 Mainstage Season, which generally runs from October through May.
