The monthly salary is NT$66,288 to NT$85,690 according to the Hiring Plan approved by Executive Yuen (for those who don’t have citizenship of Taiwan). The starting salary and salary raise will vary according to the result of academic degree authentication and related articles in“Promotion and Evaluation Method”. Other benefits include labor Insurance and national health insurance.

Please download the enrollment forms and the orchestral excerpts from the our website, fill in the application forms, attach relevant documents (such as diplomas) and send them by registered mail to the Personnel Office of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, located at No. 738-2, Zhongzheng Rd., Wufeng Dist., Taichung City 41341, Taiwan (R.O.C). Audition methods and schedule:

               (i)       Preliminary round: Qualification of the applicants is screened through the written materials that they send in.

               (ii)       Video-recording round: Those who pass the preliminary round will enter this round, by which 3 candidates at the maximum will be selected and ranked in accordance with their scores. The audition results will be notified to all applicants before June 23rd, 2025.

               (iii)       Live audition: The first and second candidates ranked according to the scores of Video-recording round can participate in live audition at NTSO on June 30th, 2025.

Concert performance and interview with the NTSO Director: The two candidates who pass live audition will perform with the NTSO a set of 2 concerts (including rehearsals and concerts scheduled from July 1st to July 6th, 2025 at the Chiayi City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau Concert Hall and the Taichung City Zhongshan Hall). If either of the candidates passes the evaluation by the NTSO professionals audition committee and is approved by the NTSO Director, will be deemed as the winner of the audition; if the review result is "No Pass" for both candidates, the candidate ranked third will be invited to take part in the audition following the above process, with a set of 2 concerts to be scheduled and notified by the NTSO.
