This season also introduces two exciting new initiatives—the Classical Masterworks Series and the Rising Stars Series—bringing celebrated masterpieces and tomorrow's brightest performers to Fredericksburg.

Established in 2022, the Fredericksburg Symphony's Guest Artist Series was created to bring internationally recognized performers and distinguished artists to our community. Previous guests have included Abigail Rockwell, granddaughter of Norman Rockwell; award-winning composer Brian Balmages; the Virginia Children's Chorus; and three Broadway legends. The series continues to connect Fredericksburg audiences with exceptional talent and unforgettable live performances.

FSO musicians are top performing artists — many perform with other orchestras, others are professional music teachers. Entrance is competitive, with successful candidates offered a performance contract.
